Mr. Reese is a Member in the Chattanooga office, whose primary focus is litigation in the areas of transportation, construction, premises liability, and workers' compensation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Reese completed a one-year judicial clerkship with Magistrate Judge Diane Vescovo in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
Mr. Reese has represented a broad range of clients in various types of litigation. Generally, Mr. Reese has experience representing trucking companies on catastrophic collision cases; property owners (both residential and commercial) in premises liability cases; real estate agents and insurance agents in professional negligence cases; employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation cases; and construction and architectural companies on large scale highway and land development projects.

Obtained summary judgment in a catastrophic personal injury case at a construction site. Defended appeal successfully before Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. See Scott v. AMEC Kamtech, Inc.. 2011 WL 65903 (6th Cir. 2011).
Obtained summary judgment for local funeral home in a negligence action. Successful defense of the appeal in Tennessee Court of Appeals. Jackson v. Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 2011 WL 4824181 (Tenn. Ct. App 2011).
Mr. Reese has also successfully defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation trials throughout East, Middle and Western Tennessee, including several successful appeals with favorable trial results.
